Research, experimentation, support and open studio
CASA BELGRADO is opening its 2026 residency program to artists, researchers, and curators of any nationality who wish to come to Buenos Aires for a creative experience.
The residency
Residents have access to a private room and share a bathroom and kitchen/dining area. The house also has three common rooms, a terrace, and an exhibition space next to it.
Program: Shared Residency for Three Participants
This program is designed to stimulate collective artistic research. We are looking for three residents (artists, researchers, or curators) who are interested in fostering an affective and shared coexistence that promotes exchange, experimentation, and collaborative work.

Residency fees are charged per month. Casa Belgrado team will provide invitation letters and any other necessary documentation to help participants apply for funding or institutional support, if needed.

Beyond the city: A visit to the river
Please note: the residency does not include health insurance. Each resident is required to personally arrange health insurance in their country of origin that is valid for the duration of their residency at Casa Belgrado.
Experimentation and work spaces:
2 rooms of 6×6 and 8×6 meters respectively, both with parquet flooring and high ceilings.
Free use of terrace of more than 300m2. Ideal for developing projects with projections, body practices and large format pieces.
Shared workshop space in the La Vitrina de Belgrado.
A menthor, either an artist or a curator, will collaborate with the artist conceptually and technically accompanying the materialization of the project, exchanging ideas and encouraging the development of artistic production.
During the residency period, the Belgrade team will also attend to the basic technical demands for the development of creative projects, providing access to all the equipment and tools available in the residency: multimedia equipment such as projector, screen, sound, etc.

There will be a presentation of the artist with the Belgrade team: professional career, previous work and approach to the project to be carried out during the residency.

The proposal consists of taking a walk along the edges of Balvanera.
Visit ateliers and art spaces
During the residency period, visits will be made to other artists’ ateliers and different art spaces and galleries in the city.
Casa Belgrado is an independent and self-managed art space, integrated by a team of Latin American managers and artists from different disciplines.
The cost of the residency is intended to cover accommodation, production, diffusion, and realization of the artistic project.
Monthly fee: $1.000 usd. p/month
Any material necessary for the development of the project that is not available at the residency must be provided and assumed by the artist.
We accompany artists interested in processing their own funds through letters of invitation and/or any other material required for the management of scholarships, grants, public or private financial support, and/or institutional aid to cover the participation fee.
